Diamond Creek Cottage

This complete interior renovation gave us ample inspiration to create a totally new feeling. The previously dark interior was transformed into a light and airy interior bringing new life to the living space of this quaint mountain cottage. Exquisite fabrics and furnishings were chosen in keeping with the traditional mountain flavor, with our client’s preference for light and airy blues and whites in mind. Exquisite fabrics and luxury textures that bounce off the reclaimed pine-stained walls and floor, fill the home. New lighting fixtures, rugs, and upholstery are all designed around the homeowner’s vast collection of regional artworks. Small rooms and spaces were redesigned and renovated to create a much more functional and larger master suite on the main floor for the homeowners’ summer residence. Revamped kitchen and bathrooms, with custom cabinets, provide fresh new spaces, all with a nod to the client’s preference for cool and calming palates of color.

Entertaining is made easy by the live edge dining table, custom-made to seat 14 guests, while locust logs combined with a burl slab create the wine bar. The living and kitchen areas both completely open onto an extensive patio with stunning views of the Blue Ridge mountains.
